Renewal SA celebrates Residential Sales Manager Ajisha Nair, an emerging leader in the property industry.

Ajisha has worked at Renewal SA since March 2025, quickly joining Property Council Australia’s 500 Women in Property program where she has inspired and been inspired by many ambitious women in the industry.

Ajisha’s role as sales manager involves her overseeing the residential sales portfolio and working with different internal and external stakeholders to ensure people are finding their first home.

“I never thought I would end up working in property but I’m fortunate to be here helping people secure a home and that’s what really motivates me", Ajisha said.

“What I have loved about the 500 Women in Property program and my time to date at Renewal SA is connecting with so many intelligent, thoughtful women who face similar challenges while brainstorming strategies to overcome them.

“I feel very fortunate that I got an opportunity to be a part of the program and I’m thankful to my colleagues for putting me forward and supporting me.”

It also encouraged Ajisha to reflect on her journey, which started in Ahmedabad in the west of India before her family moved to Kerala in the south where she excelled in commerce and finance and, away from the books, in singing including live performances.

The mix of different cultures and experiences has grounded AJ who doesn't have any one role model.

“On a personal level I feel like my parents have been my inspiration and the way they brought me up with a humble, yet hard-working mindset that has shaped how I approach things while outlining a path to where I am today," she said.

“Professionally, we have many great leaders here at Renewal SA and the genuine time they contribute to my leadership development.”

On what International Women’s Day means to her, Ajisha knows there is more to fight for.

“The first step is listening, but then crucially it’s about advocacy when women aren’t in the room and supporting them to succeed with genuine intentions.

“I am lucky to be supported at Renewal SA, by both women and men as allies, and hope more genuine efforts are made across the world.”
