At Renewal SA, we recognise that the safety and wellbeing of our employees, contractors, as well as the public, consultants and visitors, underpins our ability to achieve our goals.

At Renewal SA, Work Health and Safety (WHS) is an integral part of our business and is considered as important as all other aspects of our business performance.

We are committed to achieving a safe and accident-free workplace across all interactions (both externally and internally). We do this by promoting a robust and resilient safety culture, eliminating hazards and reducing risks. We also do this by preventing injury and ill health and providing a safe and healthy working environment for our workers and others who may be affected by our activities.

Renewal SA’s safety management system aligns to ISO45001 international standards for Safety Management as part of the South Australian public sector’s Safety, Wellbeing and Injury Management Strategy.

Information about Renewal SA’s commitments and expectations for decisions, activities and behaviours concerning the management of health and safety is available in our Health and Safety Policy.

We involve our employees in the decision-making process through regular communication and consultation. We have a dedicated WHS committee to ensure that safety is a priority across all our offices and project sites.

Our organisation is a safe place that embodies equality, inclusiveness, and respect.
