About the project
The redevelopment of the former Glenside Hospital presents a unique opportunity just 2.6 kilometres from the centre of Adelaide.
Blending historic buildings with a pristine environment adjacent to the world famous Adelaide Park Lands, the 16.5 hectare site was offered to the market in 2015 through an expression of interest process.
Cedar Woods Properties Limited was selected as the preferred proponent and began development in 2017.
Once complete, there will be approximately 1000 homes built at Glenside, consisting of both townhomes and apartments while 30% of the site will be retained for public open space.
