Latest Renewal SA project another catalyst for growth
We understand the importance of Renewal SA’s role in delivering property and urban renewal projects that drive South Australia’s economic growth and help shape the future of our State.
That commitment is underlined by yesterday’s announcement that the former Le Cornu site at Forestville–purchased by the State Government in October 2020–is now being offered for sale.
As one of the last remaining vacant city fringe locations in Adelaide, we believe this opportunity will not only appeal to the local development market, but will also be enormously attractive to national organisations looking to do business in South Australia.
Like many other Renewal SA projects, Forestville will be a catalyst project, setting the example and stimulating the urban generation of the south-west corner of the city.
As the delivery agency for the State Government, Renewal SA provides opportunities for industrial and commercial development to support job creation and social and economic growth.
This is done by enabling solutions; by taking on challenging projects and filling the gap to empower the development community and by understanding the immense value of the property industry to our economy.
As Lot Fourteen, the Tonsley Innovation Precinct and Bowden have shown, Renewal SA’s projects are not only already delivering for the communities they serve, but also transforming the way we do things for the future.
I strongly believe Forestville will be such a development.
It’s a great opportunity for interested developers, and I urge you to download the Expression of Interest from www.tenders.sa.gov.au (tender code: URA049005).
