The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) South Australian Awards showcase the breadth of landscape architecture in our state. The awards, which are open every second year, are offered in the following categories:

  • Design in Landscape Architecture
  • Planning in Landscape Architecture
  • Land Management in Landscape Architecture
  • Research and Communication in Landscape Architecture
  • Urban Design in Landscape Architecture

Registered landscape architects are eligible to enter the awards. This year’s award ceremony was held on Friday 4 September at Tenth and Gibson – adjacent our flagship urban renewal project at Bowden.

The AILA says Bowden represents years of planning, collaboration and innovation to transform prime inner city land from its former industrial uses and ‘redefine city living’ in Adelaide. Landscape Architects are playing a key role in reshaping Bowden and re-connecting it into the fabric of the city.
