About the role
Renewal SA is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Procurement Officer to support effective sourcing, contract management and procurement outcomes across the organisation.
In this key role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand procurement needs, coordinate end-to-end procurement activity, and ensure Renewal SA achieves value for money while meeting compliance obligations and organisational standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and services in best practice procurement and contract management, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and achieving value for money.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, including the preparation of required documentation, to ensure business needs will be met.
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and inform procurement decision-making.
- Undertake risk assessments, establish mitigation strategies, and support effective contract management.
- Facilitate evaluation and assessment processes and recommend appropriate procurement solutions.
About you
You’re a confident communicator and procurement professional who can balance compliance with practicality, and who works well with stakeholders to deliver strong outcomes.
You will bring:
- Experience in procurement, contract management or commercial advisory roles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in developing procurement documentation, conducting evaluations and supporting contract management.
- Procurement, contract, law or project management qualifications (desirable but not essential).
