About the role
Renewal SA is seeking a commercially savvy and analytically minded Property Feasibility and Valuation Analyst to provide expert advice on property markets, asset valuations and commercial strategies. In this key role, you’ll leverage advanced financial modelling to test options, inform investment decisions and support the financial success of projects across the organisation.
Working closely with project teams and executives, you’ll translate complex data into clear insights, develop robust business cases and help bridge finance and operations to deliver value for South Australia.
Key responsibilities:
- Undertake detailed financial modelling and feasibility analysis to evaluate scenarios (refurbishment, demolition, leasing, sale) and guide decision‑making.
- Collect and synthesise inputs from project managers and stakeholders to build accurate budgets and comparative assessments against benchmarks.
- Obtain and interpret independent valuations for Renewal SA assets to inform ongoing decisions and statutory reporting.
- Develop business cases and support the preparation of Executive/Board papers and Cabinet submissions based on feasibility outcomes.
- Champion disciplined use of property market and economic data, providing an independent view and partnering across teams to enable informed, timely decisions.
About you
You’re a clear communicator and trusted advisor who thrives on solving complex problems with data. You balance commercial rigour with practicality, collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and deliver concise insights that drive action under competing priorities.
You will bring:
- Experience in property feasibility, financial modelling, valuation or commercial advisory roles within property or infrastructure.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build and interpret complex feasibility models.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, with the confidence to present options, trade‑offs and recommendations.
- Proven capability in developing business cases and supporting high‑quality executive papers and submissions.
- Qualifications in finance, accounting, property or business; property development/valuation experience desirable.
