About the role

Renewal SA is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to assist with the delivery of the Innovation Centre at Lot Fourteen. The Innovation Centre is a proposed 11 storey commercial building to be direct delivered by the government. Situated on the 7-hectare former site of the Royal Adelaide Hospital in the hear of Adelaide Lot Fourteen is a global hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.

As Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of critical project activities including planning, design coordination, and construction of this high-profile project, ensuring delivery is aligned with scope, timeframes, and budget. Working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, this role is pivotal in shaping one of South Australia's most transformative initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the end-to-end delivery of the Innovation Centre building project.
  • Oversee budget, scope, timelines, risk mitigation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Monitor the Project Management Plan actions.
  • Support the Principal Project Manager and Client-Side Design Manager.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality project reporting and stakeholder updates.
  • Undertake stakeholder engagement
  • Undertake procurements and contract administration, coordinate responses to Requests for Information
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, vendors, and consultants to drive project success.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and industry best practices.

About you

You are a seasoned project management professional with experience in building projects, tenant fit out design and installation, complex capital works and government-led developments. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are proactive in risk management, and confident leading diverse project teams and stakeholder engagement.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience managing elements of building construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong skills in contract administration, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
