About the role
Renewal SA is seeking a driven and detail-oriented People and Capability Data Analyst and Systems Administrator to optimise and manage HR systems and data processes, improving workflow efficiency and ensuring data integrity across the organisation.
In this key role, you’ll administer and maintain core HR systems, provide trusted support to users, and deliver meaningful HR data reporting and insights that support decision-making and compliance obligations.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain HR systems (including HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and time and attendance) to ensure seamless operation and reliable data.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for system-related queries, troubleshooting and user support, providing timely and effective solutions to staff.
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits, resolving discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Configure, implement and maintain HR system workflows in line with business rules and requirements, partnering closely with the People and Capability team.
- Produce and analyse HR data reports to identify trends, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making and reporting requirements.
- Develop and deliver training to enhance user confidence and capability across HR systems and processes.
- Liaise with system providers and work with ICT to strengthen support processes and ensure optimal system performance and usability.
About you
You’re a confident communicator with strong technical capability across HR systems and a sharp eye for detail. You enjoy solving problems, translating technical information into clear business terms, and improving how systems and processes work to deliver better outcomes.
You will bring:
- Strong technical skills across HR systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain system performance and support users effectively. (Knowledge of Cornerstone would be highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience in HR data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and compliance requirements. (Knowledge of Power BI would be highly regarded)
- Excellent attention to detail, including maintaining data quality standards and conducting audits.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service focus, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting system design/development, workflow optimisation and continuous improvement (including automation opportunities).
- Tertiary qualifications in an analytical discipline (e.g., Economics, Finance, Statistics, Research, Social Science) or equivalent relevant experience.
