About the role


Are you a strategic thinker with deep expertise in procurement, contracts and government compliance? At Renewal SA, we're seeking a highly skilled Manager, Procurement and Contracts to lead and evolve our procurement and contract management functions.

In this leadership role, you will oversee a dedicated team and drive the development and implementation of fit-for-purpose procurement frameworks, policies and processes that support the delivery of high-profile urban development projects across South Australia. You'll be a trusted advisor on complex procurement and probity matters, supporting business units in achieving value-for-money outcomes while effectively managing risk.

As a key strategic leader, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensure compliance with government requirements, and maintain robust reporting and oversight mechanisms.

  • Strategically lead procurement and contract management across the organisation.
  • Oversee a team of five, fostering capability, consistency, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement frameworks and probity requirements.
  • Develop policies, templates and tools to support commercial success and risk mitigation.
  • Act as the key advisor on procurement, contracts, and commercial governance matters.

About you

We're seeking a forward-thinking professional with proven leadership in procurement and contracts, particularly in government or complex project environments.

You will have:

  • Extensive experience in procurement, contract management and risk mitigation.
  • Strong working knowledge of SA Government procurement policy and probity principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, law, commerce or a related field.
