About the role

Renewal SA is looking for a proactive and experienced professional to lead and deliver our organisation-wide information management strategy. This role will drive best-practice document and records management across the agency, ensuring compliance with state legislation and internal policies while fostering a culture of good information governance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on information and records management, including legislative compliance and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement frameworks, policies, and procedures that support the organisation's information governance objectives.
  • Administer and maintain the electronic document and records management system (EDRMS), ensuring functionality and user engagement.
  • Oversee training and guidance for staff on information management practices, driving capability and cultural change.
  • Partner with stakeholders and vendors to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant information management across the business.

About you

We're looking for a strategic thinker and confident leader who can build strong partnerships, influence organisational behaviour, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a complex environment.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience leading information or records management in a government or large-scale organisation.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the State Records Act and associated frameworks.
  • Experience developing information governance tools such as asset registers, disposal schedules, and management plans.
  • Proven ability to manage systems, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to service excellence, capability uplift, and continuous improvement.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
