About the role

Renewal SA is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Industrial leader to oversee the growth and delivery of South Australia’s industrial land portfolio.

As Head of Industrial, you will drive the planning, development, and activation of industrial precincts to deliver outcomes that support economic growth and job creation. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage strategic projects from feasibility through to delivery, and ensure Renewal SA’s industrial land assets are optimised to meet state and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership across all industrial land projects, ensuring alignment with Renewal SA’s commercial and economic development priorities.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and planning through to development, sales, leasing, and delivery, achieving strong financial and operational outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a high-performance culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry, and community stakeholders to identify opportunities and support project success.
  • Ensure robust project management, financial management, governance, and risk oversight across all projects and precincts.

About you

You’re a results-driven property leader with deep expertise in industrial or commercial development. You combine strategic foresight, commercial acumen, and team leadership to deliver complex projects that generate lasting value for South Australia.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience leading large-scale industrial or property development projects.
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability.
  • A leadership style that embraces a culture of connection, clarity and contribution from your team.
  • A tertiary qualification in Development, Planning, Land Economics, or a related field.
