About the role
Are you looking to build your career in environmental management? Renewal SA is seeking an Environmental Advisor to provide support in coordinating environmental investigations, assisting with compliance tasks, and contributing to project delivery across a range of initiatives.
As an Environmental Advisor, you will support the Environmental Services team in ensuring environmental best practices are followed across Renewal SA’s projects and operations. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to assist with environmental risk management, compliance, and operational support. You will also support the team at the EPA licenced Renewal SA Soil Recycling Facility at Gillman.
- Assist in coordinating environmental investigations for Renewal SA projects, helping to identify and minimise impacts on human health and the environment.
- Support internal stakeholders by gathering and organising environmental information for projects with minor environmental issues.
- Help manage administrative and procurement processes to support environmental operations efficiently.
- Assist with operational and administrative tasks for the Soil Recycling Facility.
- Support the administration and procurement for the Environmental Services Panel, including updates to panel members and other details as required.

About you
We’re looking for a motivated individual who is keen to develop their skills in environmental management. This entry level role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience and grow their career in environmental advisory and compliance support.
- Some experience or exposure to environmental compliance, advisory, or investigations (through work, study, or internships).
- Basic understanding of environmental legislation and risk management.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team.
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science or a related field
