Our dynamic Property and Major Projects Division has an exciting career opportunity for an Assistant Development Manager to join and work between our Tonsley Innovation District and Our Port Project.

About the Projects

Tonsley Innovation District: This vibrant hub fosters collaboration and innovation by bringing together leading research and educational institutions, established businesses, startups, business incubators, accelerators, and government entities. It's a place where creativity meets opportunity.

Our Port Project: With substantial investment from the state government and the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, Renewal SA is revitalising the Port area through a series of strategic activations and initiatives aimed at enhancing community engagement and facilitating land sales.

Under the mentorship of the Senior Development Manager, you will be primarily based at Tonsley, supporting the delivery of key development projects while also assisting the Senior Project Manager at Port Adelaide. Your role will be pivotal in driving project success and fostering collaborative relationships across various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the planning, delivery, procurement, contracting, and handover processes for civil construction projects.
• Support the broader team with land division and development initiatives.
• Assist to manage contracts related to site remediation to prepare large sites for sale to developers.
• Collaborate effectively with consultants, community members, local businesses, and councils to ensure seamless project execution.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is eager to advance their career and possesses:

• Experience in planning, procuring, contract management, and delivering civil works.
• Strong contract reading skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with civil construction delivery, building construction, and subdivision processes.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

• Holds a tertiary qualification in Civil Construction, Property, Development, Planning, Land Economics or other related fields.
