About the role
Renewal SA is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Officer to provide high-quality financial administration and support services that contribute to the efficient operation of our Finance team.
In this key role, you’ll ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, maintain up-to-date records, and support continuous improvement of finance processes and systems. You will also play a vital role in assisting with reporting, reconciliations, and stakeholder support across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, credit card, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in recording financial data.
- Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, receipts, and reports.
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and journals.
- Support financial administration and respond to stakeholder enquiries.
- Deliver training to staff on finance systems and cardholder responsibilities.
- Contribute to the improvement of policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Provide assistance to other teams within the Division as required.
About you
You’re an organised and proactive finance professional with a passion for accuracy and process improvement. You thrive in dynamic environments where deadlines matter, and you enjoy building collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Experience in financial administration, accounts processing, or similar roles.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate outcomes to deadlines.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Sound computing skills including understanding computer concepts and using applications within a Microsoft Windows and MS Office environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or business (Certificate IV in Accounting desirable).
