Who we are looking for

Child Care Services Training, in partnership with Stepping Stone (SA) Childcare & Early Development Centres and Renewal SA’s Works Program are looking for motivated people who are keen to start a career as a Childhood Educator to take part in their Pre-employment program.

Program participants will commit to a 49-week training program.

All participants need to be eligible to obtain a Working with Children Check and full vaccination against COVID-19 is preferred.

Women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

Employment with Stepping Stone (SA) Childcare

Graduates will be eligible for employment opportunities with Stepping Stone (SA) Childcare & Early Development Centres.

Nationally Accredited Training

  • (CHC30121) Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • (HLTAID012) Provide first aid in an education and care setting

Supervised Work Experience

  • 160 hours of supervised work experience placements throughout the program to complete your qualification.

Job Ready Training

  • Workshops delivered by industry experts to enhance training.

Training runs on Wednesdays from 9:00am — 4:00pm.

Participants will undergo a comprehensive 49-week training program, during which they will receive nationally accredited training and gain practical experience. Schedule: Training sessions are held every Friday from 9:15 am to 3:15 pm. Work experience placements are on Thursdays.

Location: Stepping Stone (SA) Hove, 382-388 Brighton Road, Hove SA 5048.

Cost: There is a $600 student co-contribution fee, with potential subsidies available.
