Located at the western edge of the Northern Economic Corridor, the 50-hectare master-planned estate offers direct access to key freight networks including the Port River Expressway (with subsequent access to North-South Corridor), Inner and Outer Harbors, and the Interstate Main Rail Line. Its proximity to defence precincts on the LeFevre Peninsula and within the broader Adelaide metropolitan area positions it as a strategic hub for high-output, value-add industries.

Recent milestones include:

  • Commencing earthworks and civil construction activities, including the extension of Newhaven Road and Inglis Circuit
  • Market release of Lot 101 Newhaven Road (10.35 hectares) – strategically located for transport and logistics operations.
  • Further market release of Stage 2 allotments (comprising up to five allotments with a total area of up to 10 hectares).

Renewal SA is also progressing additional land releases within the vicinity of the estate to support port-related development, including large-format sites within the Strategic Employment Zone.

Following the successful release of Allotment 360 Ocean Steamers Road (representing a substantial eight-hectare site for a new logistics hub), Renewal SA is also working on the:

  • Market release of part Lot 28 Ocean Steamers Road – a circa 6,000m2 site located within the Strategic Employment Zone and suited to intensive industrial operations.
  • The receipt of over three million cubic metres of fill material associated with the government’s North-South Corridor (River Torrens to Darlington) Project, which will support future development of Renewal SA’s broad Gillman Precinct.

Gillman is located just 18.5 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD and five minutes from Port Adelaide, enhancing freight efficiency and workforce accessibility.
