Now more than ever it is imperative that Renewal SA is looking beyond its current role in delivering projects for South Australia to determine how we can best work with the private sector and whole of government to stimulate the property industry and have a positive impact on the South Australian economy.

Earlier this year, Renewal SA advertised for the new position of General Manager, Major Projects and Pipeline. This position is a cornerstone of the future role that Renewal SA will play in our state as we seek to consolidate our experience in exceptional and innovative project delivery, drive projects of significance, and influence supply and demand in housing and employment lands.

Renewal SA will, at its core, deliver a pipeline of projects and investment opportunities, supported across government, and backed by private sector participation and investment. Partnership is critical in our collective success.

Renewal SA is delighted to announce that Mr Tony Cole will be joining us as our General Manager, Major Projects and Pipeline. Tony will be charged with identifying new projects for both government and private sector participation and ensuring they are assessed, planned and negotiated ready for delivery.

Tony has extensive experience in property development through a variety of roles including development management and delivery, operations, finance and acquisitions. Through these strategic roles he has gained extensive experience in identifying, negotiating and structuring successful projects, an ingredient that will be crucial in our pathway forward to sustaining economic growth.

Tony joins us from Lendlease, Victoria where he has acted as both Regional Development Manager for a range of large-scale master planned communities and Business Development Director for acquisitions and growth across Victoria for the last eight years. Tony’s time at Lendlease also saw him responsible for reporting on the financial and operational performance of the Western Australia investment portfolio as the State Finance Manager.

I am looking forward to welcoming Tony to the Renewal SA executive team. I strongly believe his leadership experience, property and project expertise, and cultural fit will mean he is able to contribute significantly to the future of our organisation, as we seek to build and deliver a stable of exciting projects that positively impact the industry and our state’s economy.

Please join in me in welcoming Tony to Renewal SA, and South Australia.

Chris Menz, Chief Executive
