In the city, the Shopfront Improvement Grant Program forms part of the investment to support local businesses and property owners within the Market to Riverbank link who wish to make improvements to their commercial facades.

This is a part of transforming the Market to Riverbank link and developing a thriving and unique city destination for the future for people to stop, linger longer and explore.

Local Port Adelaide businesses and start-up entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to apply for a share in over $270,000 in grants through the new Port Business Makers Grant Program and Business Support Program.

For the next three years, new grants will be available in rounds to support existing businesses as well as new and emerging entrepreneurships in the Port CBD.

As well as available grants, a new Business Support Program has been designed for eligible businesses at no cost, to tap into business support and ongoing mentoring.

Ongoing business support will be vital for existing businesses to take their business to the next level and will assist new entrepreneurs in making their unique mark in the Port.

These new programs will generate significant economic activity and build upon the growing business momentum and confidence in the Port.
