More townhouses are now on the market at Southwark Grounds, with Contour Property’s West Village adding to the growing number of residences that will take rise on the former West End Brewery site.

Designed by Walter Brooke Architects and to be delivered by Blag Homes, West Village draws on the industrial heritage of the site, continuing the architectural benchmark that has already been set by Founder’s Row on Holland Street.

Jason Semanic, Principal lead at Walter Brooke, said the homes were designed to contribute to the character of the precinct.

"Each townhouse has been designed to express individuality while contributing to a unified streetscape,” Mr Semanic said.

“Design features include distinctive metal arch frames, a nod to the industrial character and crafted metalwork historically associated with Southwark, alongside flexible living spaces that prioritise natural light.

“We think it is the perfect partner to the first release Founder's Row, as a statement piece to set the tone for the remainder of what is to come at Southwark Grounds.”

The townhouses have been positioned to take full advantage of the green spaces and Park Lands to the north and east, with each home making the most of natural light and outlook while improving energy efficiency and the use of space.

The project’s momentum is already evident, with eight homes under the Affordable Homes Program within the West Village release, listed through HomeSeeker SA, sold out within days of hitting the market.

This follows the success of Founder's Row along Holland Street - the first homes released at Southwark Grounds, which sold out within weeks of launching in late 2025.

Located 2 km from the Adelaide CBD, West Village offers a unique opportunity to secure a home at the heart of the former West End Brewery site, near the heritage listed Walkerville Brew Tower with access to public transport, including trains, trams and the River Torrens/Karrawirra Pari trail.

Skye Bayne, Renewal SA’s Executive Director of Sales and Corporate Affairs, said West Village demonstrated how urban renewal could deliver quality housing alongside enhanced community amenity.

“West Village is delivering new homes that sit within a well-connected location, with access to public transport, walking and cycling links, green spaces and the Adelaide Park Lands, contributing to sustainable mixed-use communities so close to the Adelaide CBD,” Ms Bayne said.

Buyers can register their interest with Adelaide-based agency Polly Property, who are leading the sales campaign for West Village.

Contour Properties brings a track record of developments around Adelaide including Tribeca and Cadence locally in Bowden and Balmoral House in Mosman, NSW. They had previously completed the East End Living apartments on Pirie St in the Adelaide CBD.

All available homes feature three bedrooms across five distinct design types.

Prices for market homes begin at $1.25 million for the Marque design, a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with two living areas and single car space.

At the top end, options range up to $1.795 million for the Waverly, a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home with two living areas, double garage and rooftop balcony overlooking the adjacent open space and the foundations of Colonel Light's Cottage.

West Village is located on Anderson Street as part of a broader master plan that will deliver around 1,300 residences at Southwark Grounds over the next decade, alongside green streets, open spaces and community infrastructure.
