Round four applications opened in December 2016 and will be processed in ongoing rolling sub-rounds with applications assessed on a monthly basis.
So far, Round 4 City Makers grants have included $10,000 funding for Adelaide comedy giant, Rhino Room, to assist with fire safety and noise attenuation measures as they move into their new home at 1/131 Pirie St.

The Adelaide West End Association were also successful in securing $5000 in placemaking funding for the upcoming event Houndwave – Adelaide’s doggy day out and mini music festival to be held in Light Square on 1 April 2017.

In addition to entertainment venues and events, “We’re also looking to assist live music venues with building compliance costs associated with sound attenuation,” noted Renewal SA General Manager, Georgina Vasilevski.
In particular, creative ideas for the Market to Riverbank link are strongly encouraged. These will form part of the upgrade of Bank Street, Leigh Street, Topham Mall, Bentham Street and Pitt Street, which aims to deliver a vibrant connection between two of the city’s most iconic destinations – the Adelaide Central Market and the Adelaide Riverbank.
