A group of eight Renewal SA graduates standing under the Adelaide Riverbank bridge and standing in front of the Torrens River.

In a demonstration of our commitment to building a strong organisation by focusing on recruiting, retaining and developing our talent (our people), Renewal SA’s inaugural graduate program has officially begun.

We welcome Jack Homes, Emily Solomon, Simon Jenkins, Ashlee Wilton, Scott Heywood, Stacey Mills, Nicole Li and Gabrielle Priest, who hold qualifications in a range of areas, from urban planning and public management, to business, finance and psychology.

Our graduate program is designed to build on the graduates’ capabilities and skills, ensuring they receive a positive, professional and supportive work development experience.

Over the next two years, they will participate in an accelerated learning program developing their professional skills across a range of experiences. This is made possible through coaching and work shadowing, regular feedback and partnering.

Graduates will take part in rotations throughout the organisation, to assist them gain a greater breadth of experience and a more holistic understanding of the organisation.

Each graduate has also been paired with a coach who will support them through the program, sharing knowledge and skills, and providing feedback and advice. These coaches have been through an intensive training experience to ensure they are fully prepared to support the graduates throughout the program.

Our next graduate program will begin in 2019, with applications opening in early 2018.
