House hunters can scout the latest trends in home design at Playford Alive
Eight of South Australia’s leading builders will progressively unveil their newest offerings at the display village off Peachey Road at Munno Para, showcasing a total of 13 high-quality options.
Weeks, Statesman, Rivergum, Hickinbotham, Sterling Homes and SA Housing Centre have already opened the doors to their display homes while Fairmont and Distinctive Homes are expected to welcome visitors in the coming months.
A new Playford Alive Sales and Information Centre is also under construction by Distinctive Homes and flagged for a mid-year opening.
Renewal SA Playford Alive Project Director Mark Collins said builders in the area were experiencing unprecedented demand for their product and that the new village was an opportunity for those builders to showcase their innovative new designs to prospective buyers searching for their dream homes.
“Having all of these display homes conveniently co-located in the same precinct, provides a great opportunity for those wanting to buy a home to see what their life could look like living at Playford Alive,” Mr Collins said.
“This suite of new designs really highlights the variety of things you can do to maximise space and lifestyle options on your block.”
The new display village will take up a more central location within the Playford Alive development, walking distance from the Town Centre and Town Park.
Mr Collins said the display village would feature a mix of single-storey, three-and four-bedroom homes with 10m to 15m frontages and flexible floor plans to cater for modern living needs such as working from home.
“Renewal SA has worked tirelessly to deliver a fully masterplanned community with great public amenities and access to public open space,” he said. “And we are committed to providing quality housing to go with it that’s affordable for first-home owners getting on the property ladder and those looking to build a forever home. “We can’t wait for potential buyers to come and get inspired, seek advice and plan for their future in the northern suburbs.”
An official launch of the entire display village is expected to take place in the coming months.
Playford Alive is one of the largest masterplanned communities under development in Adelaide’s north, encompassing approximately 500 hectares of greenfield land at Munno Para, Andrews Farm and Eyre, and urban renewal projects in Smithfield Plains and Davoren Park. On completion, around 40,000 people will call Playford Alive home. Its diverse mix of housing options makes it ideal for all stages of life and living requirements with land prices starting from $110,000*.
Every land package at Playford Alive comes with bonus extras including front, rear and side fencing, driveway crossover, a letter box and front yard landscaping up to $10,000. There is also a $250 hot water rebate on offer for some buyers. Residents are also encouraged to add solar panels to their property.
