Mr Menz will assume the top job at Renewal SA on 3 February 2020 following current Chief Executive Mr Mark Devine’s departure on 29 November 2019 to pursue other opportunities in the private sector.

“Mark Devine has been an exceptional Chief Executive since assuming the role last year and the Marshall Government sincerely thanks him for his years of service,” said Minister Knoll.

“Renewal SA is continuing to move forward under reinvigorated leadership with Con Tragakis as the new Chair of the Board and now with Mr Menz as CEO.

“Renewal SA is such an important agency in the context of South Australia’s future prosperity, which supports new developments, jobs growth and policies that help grow South Australia’s population.”

Mr Menz’s appointment will bring a new energy to the role along with a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors, across multiple jurisdictions. This includes invaluable local experience as Mr Menz was a Project Director at Renewal SA prior to assuming his most recent role as Executive Director, Communities and Health at Commercial & General.

Mr Menz said that he’s delighted to be appointed as Renewal SA’s Chief Executive Officer, viewing this role as an integral part to both leading and supporting the state’s growth agenda through a holistic approach to managing property.

“This is a dynamic and high potential organisation with many talented people and an incredible stable of existing and potential projects,” said Mr Menz.

“I look forward to working collaboratively to stimulate the state’s property and development sector into the next era of prosperity.”
