HSR (Aust) Group in partnership with Renewal SA’s Works Program are looking for motivated and committed people who want to start an exciting career in a heritage trade.
Participants will perform a two-week work experience placement working on the restoration of some of Adelaide’s most iconic heritage buildings.
Who we are looking for
Participants must be able to commit to a two-week work experience placement and have:
- a White Card (CPCCWHS1001)
- a reasonable level of fitness
- sound literacy and numeracy skills
- the right to work in Australia.

What you can achieve
All participants have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working on the restoration of iconic heritage buildings.
In addition, up to four successful work experience participants will complete a Certificate III Stonemasonry (Monumental) apprenticeship (CPC32313) with HSR (Aust) Group, and continue developing their skills across a range of other traditional trades including:
- bricklaying
- plastering
- painting
- carpentry
- roofing.

2. Attend the Information and Selection session (by invitation only)
Selected eligible applicants will be invited to attend an information and selection session.
When: Thursday 16 July 2020
Session 1: 10.00am–12.30pm
Session 2: 2.00–4.30 pm
Work experience details
Work experience placements will be hosted between July and September 2020. Placements will run for two weeks from Monday to Friday, 7.00am–4.00pm, in the Adelaide CBD and are covered by the Renewal SA Works Program’s public liability and personal accident insurance cover.
