Over two hectares on President Avenue, Andrews Farm is being offered for sale by expression of interest through McGees Property, and is expected to offer around 50 new quality homes.
Renewal SA General Manager Property, Mark Devine said this is a great opportunity to generate private sector investment in Adelaide’s north whilst providing new high quality homes for South Australians.
“The development opportunity will be a boost for the local community in close proximity to Playford Alive with the range of community services, parks and shops it has to offer,” Mr Devine said.
“The state government, through Renewal SA, is seeking an experienced residential developer to deliver a high quality residential development located in a recently established area, in close proximity to the exciting Playford Alive development.”
Development of the site is estimated to support approximately 75 jobs over a two to four year construction period and stimulate investment more than $12 million.
McGees Property Director, James Juers said this is a great offering to develop the two plus hectare residential site within the fast developing Andrews Farm and Playford Alive precinct.
“Quality offerings of this size so close to existing infrastructure are rare,” Mr Juers said.
“The land comprises an irregular shaped vacant parcel of land with an enormous street frontage to President Avenue providing flexibility for access, and the rear of the site backs onto an existing reserve, pleasantly landscaped with a walkway and pedestrian footbridge.”
In this recently developed section of Andrews Farm, the surrounding development comprises newly constructed residential homes with vacant land to the south earmarked for future residential development.
The sale is being marketed through McGees Property.
Expressions of interest close 2.00 pm, Wednesday 12 September 2018.
