Who we are looking for

Child Care Services Training in association with the Department of Industry and Skills’ WorkReady initiative is looking for motivated and committed people living in and around the northern suburbs who are interested in a career as an Educator with pathways to a Diploma in an early education and care setting.

Participants must be able to commit to the 24-week training Stepping Stone (SA) Childcare & Early Development Centres Pre-employment program and be eligible to obtain a Department of Human Services screening for working with children.

What you can achieve

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113)
  • Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting (HLTAID004)

Guaranteed work experience and employment opportunities are available for suitable program graduates.

Participants will only be selected for the program after attending the information session.

Runs Tuesday, 14 August 2018 for 24 weeks, until Thursday, 14 February 2019 (break from 17 December 2018 to 13 January 2019)

Cost

$200 student co-contribution fee ($180 if concessions apply).
