The Senior Manager, Property and Projects is responsible for leading Renewal SA's government agency property services (GAPS) team, along with identifying, developing, implementing, and leading the management of strategic property opportunities for Renewal SA and other Government Agencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proven ability to identify, procure, lead, and manage a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a project, land disposal, or acquisition in a timely manner and within budget
- Negotiating complex real estate transactions on behalf of other government agencies to achieve agency objectives while managing commercial risk, including instruction and liaison with relevant government advisors such as departments and local government agencies
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with government agencies, key public and private sector stakeholders
- Designing and implementing risk management and probity plans for effective due diligence and transaction management.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced property professional with tertiary qualifications in property, project management, or related discipline. We welcome a high level of experience, expertise, and knowledge relating to real estate, particularly in property valuation methodology and principles, town planning, property development, and real estate transactions.
