About the role
Renewal SA has a career opportunity for someone to provide business support services to ensure the efficient operation of the Industrial and Defence team. Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, the role will primarily be responsible for effectively managing financial and cost controls for project-based contracts.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure adherence to contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust project budgets and schedules in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement and uphold quality control measures and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure projects meet safety and contractual standards.
- Evaluate and assess change orders and variations in contract scope, cost, and schedule, liaising with the Project Manager to ensure compliance.
About you
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Experience in contract administration, project budgeting, and financial reporting, ideally within a project-based environment.
- A strong ability to identify project risks and develop innovative solutions within government policies and objectives.
- Proven skills in engaging with diverse stakeholders and addressing their interests and expectations effectively.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deliverables efficiently within tight timeframes and competing project demands.
