About the role

As the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance on various facets of the property market, asset valuations, and commercial strategies for Renewal SA. Leveraging your profound expertise in financial modelling and commercial management, you will be instrumental in steering projects towards financial success.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop robust business cases for new and existing projects, collaborating with stakeholders and supporting the preparation of executive-level documentation for decision-making bodies.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial modelling and analysis to support decision-making on property-related matters such as acquisitions, developments and sales.
  • Gather input from project managers and stakeholders to establish accurate project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate project performance against industry benchmarks, conducting comparative studies to measure success throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain detailed project feasibilities and financial models, updating budgets and conducting independent valuations for regulatory compliance.
  • Attend PCG meetings with Renewal SA development partners and provide commercial input as required.

About you

We are looking for an experienced manager in the relevant field who can demonstrate:

  • Strong track record in the property market (desirable), asset valuations, and commercial strategies
  • Proven expertise in financial modelling, analytical skills, and strategic vision for driving financial success
  • Effective communication (both written and verbal) skills, leadership, and adaptability with a commitment to integrity
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Financial Management etc.)
