Shine in our latest disability support worker pre-employment program
Enhance Training in association with the Department of Industry and Skills’ WorkReady initiative is looking for motivated and committed people living in and around the northern suburbs who are interested in a career as a Disability Support Worker.
What you can achieve
Nationally-accredited training in:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015)
- Provide an emergency response in an Education and Care setting (HLTAID004)
- Conduct manual handling tasks safely (HLTWHS005)
Guaranteed work placements are on offer for those who meet the selection and suitability criteria.
Employment opportunities with Lighthouse Disability are also available for suitable program graduates.
Who we are looking for
Program participants need to:
- have a Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle
- be able to drive a van
- be physically fit.
What you need to do
1. Register to attend the Information Session
Participants will only be selected for the program after attending the Information and Selection Session.
Register by contacting Enhance Training by Monday 25 February 2019 to check WorkReady eligibility and book into the Information and Selection Session.

2. Attend the Information and Selection Session
When: Thursday 28 February 2019, 10.00am–1.00pm
Where: Lighthouse Disability, 101 Park Terrace, Salisbury
Selected participants from the Information and Selection Session will be required to attend a further appointment at Enhance Training, Fullarton to confirm acceptance on the program.
Training runs Thursday 14 March to July 2019, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9.00am–5.00pm, for 20 weeks.
Training will be held at Salisbury.
Cost and eligibility
$400 student co-contribution fee; $300 if concessions apply.
