The Northway at Elizabeth Park neighbourhood renewal project is managed by Renewal SA on behalf of Housing SA.
Northway is a four-stage neighbourhood renewal project involving upgrades to streets and housing in an area of Elizabeth Park.
Approximately 500 homes were in need of improvement, almost half of which were owned by the South Australian Housing Trust (SAHT).
The main aims of the Northway project were to achieve a redevelopment with a sustainable mix of affordable homes within a revitalised neighbourhood, including energy efficient homes, renewed streets with better lighting and greener parks.
Since 2008, 145 lots have been sold for the construction of new and affordable homes, 76 new social housing properties constructed and 92 property refurbishments completed.
The land development program is now complete.
Northway at Elizabeth Park offers residents the convenience of being located near community-friendly facilities including a lively neighbourhood centre, retail, local schools and public transport links to the CBD and Elizabeth City Centre.
Ongoing commitment to building this community is also assured, with the backing of the state government and City of Playford. The City of Playford undertakes public realm upgrades following completion of construction of new homes.
The Northway neighbourhood renewal project is scheduled for completion in 2017.
With blocks available from just $84,950, building a new home at Northway offers outstanding value.
