A lotta love for our Urban Beach
Our Adelaide Riverbank demonstration project, Urban Beach, showed Adelaide has an appetite for short-term urban experiences for family, friends and visitors along the Adelaide Riverbank. More than 35,000 people experienced sand between their toes at Pinky Flat over two months, were you one of them? People enjoyed a variety of activities from volleyball, Popeye and the paddle boats, yoga and an outdoor cinema, and simply taking advantage of the beach environment within the city. Survey feedback was overwhelmingly positive with over 95% of surveyed visitors saying they would like to see Urban Beach return.
