Enhance Training Early Childhood Pre-employment program 2019
Enhance Training, in association with the Department for Innovation and Skills, is delighted to present an opportunity for the right candidates to kick-start a rewarding professional career in the childcare services sector.
Who we are looking for
Motivated and committed people living in Tonsley or Adelaide’s southern suburbs who want to start a career working with children.
You must be eligible to gain a Child Related Employment Screening and ready to commit to a 22-week training program in Mitcham, starting in June and ending in November 2019.
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
What you can achieve
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care [CHC30113]
- Provide an emergency response in an Education & Care setting [HLTAID004]
- Safe Environments for Children and Young People – ‘Through their eyes’ certificate
- Guaranteed work placements with Stepping Stone (SA) Childcare & Early Development centres for those who meet the selection and suitability criteria
- Employment opportunities for suitable program graduates.

You may then be invited to attend an Information and Selection Session on Thursday, 6 June 2019, 10am – 12pm at Mitcham Cultural Village, 103 Princes Road, Mitcham.
Successful applicants will only be selected from those who attend the Information and Selection Session.
What happens if I’m successful?
If your application to participate in the Enhance Training Early Childhood Pre-employment program is successful, you will be required to attend the 22-week program from 11 June to 14 November 2019.
Training is delivered 9am – 5pm, Tuesday to Thursday, with the exception of a four-week period when participants will be required to attend five days per week, Monday to Friday.
Training will be held at Mitcham Cultural Village, 103 Princes Road, Mitcham.
A $400 student co-contribution fee applies. If a concession applies, this cost is reduced to $300.
